GUILD GUITAR REPAIR PHOTOS
#1. This is an old Guild guitar. The top was
smashed in, bridge pulled off, back was
separated and cracked. It had loose braces both top and back. It also had a broken peghead.

#2. Repairing the crushed top. I had to add a large spruce splint Inlayed into the top and cleated.

#3. Replacing the bridge. I fabricated a new bridge. The bridge is clamped and glued.
#4. Set-up for routing out the bridge slot for the bone bridge with the correct scale distance. #5. Photo of the repaired peghead. It is hard to see this repair but if you look closely you can see the crack lines. #6. Getting ready to re-glue the peghead veneer on the peghead.

#7. A photo of the back prior to repairing. I re-glued the back to the sides and glued and cleated the back crack.

GIBSON HERITAGE GUITAR REPAIR PHOTOS

This Gibson Heritage guitar was brought to me with a split bridge and strings pulling through the top.  The guitar also had loose braces.  This photo shows the new fabricated bridge and the original split bridge after  re-gluing.  The braces on the top have been re-glued as well.

This photo shows the completed guitar ready to go back to the customer.

Here is the satisfied customer holding his Guitar.
